“This was a lovely place. It is a traditional Italian hotel, with proper furniture (I can't remember when I last stayed somewhere with a real wardrobe). The room was spotlessly clean and there was a warm welcome from the friendly and helpful family who own and run the hotel. It is in a great position, just a few minutes walk from the historic centre of Perugia. Waking up from a good night's sleep to the sound of Perugia's bells and the smell of coffee and croissants wafting up the stairs was just wonderful. And they didn't mind me practising my Italian on them!”
