“The hotel is not far from the Xiamen International Exhibition Centre which makes going there easy and convenient. We paid roughly about 38-40 RMB for taxi from Gaoqi International Airport which is quite fine. There are local restaurant nearby so we did have a cheap dinner after check in. It is easy to find things to eat around there. Front desk was friendly and could speak English. The hotel is quite new and we really like the room. The beds and mattresses were comfortable. I also enjoy the view and how big the bathroom really was. Reception was good, bellboys were nice. Nothing to complain about the check-in and check-out thingy. ”

“This is an excellent property and is great value for the money. This hotel is a little further away than other hotels from the pier, restaurants, botanical garden, Xiamen university, etc., but it really doesn't matter since you will wind up taking a taxi (which are cheap almost everywhere in China) everywhere you go (and I love to walk). The money saved staying at this very nice hotel will more than make up for the extra 5 minutes in the taxi (e.g. Pay $7 instead of $5.5). The hotel has excellent food. You can also walkabout 5 minutes ( two right turns) to a restaurant that serves good Jaozi. On the subject of taxis, it is helpful to use "Didi" smartphone app. To book the ride. This is especially useful during rush hour when drivers will want a higher rate. Xiamen is a beautiful city, but the traffic is worse than some larger cities (e.g. Chengdu) and one can be stuck for a while.”
