“Bearing in mind that the resort is basically located in a national park which is home to the endangered Iriomote Mountain Cat, the stay was perfect! There are a few small things I could point out comparing to other resorts and hotels I’ve stayed. If you’re planing to stay on the island and want a comfortable room than Nirakanai is definitely the place to be! Make sure to plan activities in advance (includes reserving restaurants)!”
“Very well located hotel and excellent breakfast. The staff was so friendly and helpful that we want to come back! The beach is beautiful, the room was clean and very comfortable. We ate at the restaurants (buffet style, and teppanyaki), which were delicious and enjoyable (fresh food, great choice, kind staff...). Great job!”

“Great hotel, helpful staff. I met a typhoon during my stay. Instant typhoon information and transportation arrangement was provided. Wonderful beach was nearby. I stayed at 5/F, beautiful sunset view.”
“Stunning location with private sandy beach (10 second walk from hotel), which was only assessable from hotel so really quiet and hardly any people (if any!). West facing so we could watch the sunset from either the beach or our balcony. Room was very big, with two doubles for sleeping and another double 'day bed'. Air con was very quiet. Good quality furniture and fittings. Hotel very helpful about organising excursions (snorkelling, kayaking, cruises). Local restaurants will pick you up and drop you back at hotel. Swimming pool was very quiet lots of the day, and perfect temperature for swimming and relaxing. Good massage options, though no hot tub / other spa facilities.”
