“Our room and hotel have a real classy feel. We love that the lobby was not flooded with tourist groups. The concierge was fantastic with her recommendation of restaurants. The service from front desk, manager and even the bell hop, were impeccable. The location was excellent. It was a short walk to Canal City and short bus or train ride to Hakata Station.”
“The facility is beautiful and the staff was friendly. Everything was impeccable and we highly recommend this hotel. Our room was large and comfortable. The breakfast had a wonderful selection of western and eastern foods. We will definitely stay here again.”
“The staff was excellent. The concierge services are one of the best we've experienced. We've tried a number of 5-star hotels, but the concierge service in Okura was exceptional. In one instance, after they gave us a restaurant recommendation (we got them to book four restaurants for us, which were all great), as we were already ordering, we were surprised to see the concierge for the day outside our private dining room. She apparently walked all the way from the hotel to give us a piece of paper indicating the food allergies of my family in Japanese. Now that's service that really cares.”
“Excellent location for this hotel, close to Metro and on the banks of the river. Lots of historic temples in easy walking distance as well as gardens. Many restaurants locally and shops. Staff were extrememly helpful and courteous and the leisure centre was very well equiped with a large swimming pool. Decor and cleanliness excellent throughout.”
“Courteous helpful staff. Comfortable rooms. Very good buffet breakfast (for western and Asian palattes.) Centrally located.”
“Everything is luxurious. Room is big(triplet beds) with sufficient facilities in it.”
“The location was perfect, two short stops from Hakata station, and connected by an underground passage to the hotel. The room itself is functional and the bed and linens are fresh and comfortable. Close to the Asian art gallery (free admission) and Ampanman Museum.”
“Comfy bed. Locates near shopping street. Locates quite near subway station. Connects to subway (through a long walk) in the B1/F of the hotel, which is useful during cold weather.”
“Exceptional breakfast array Staff were super friendly and 5 star professional”
