“This was the nicest place we have ever stayed in. Karin, the owner, is possibly the best host a traveler could want. She greeted us with a warm smile and seemed truly happy to meet us. Our room was large and gorgeous! The best part was the balcony which had an incredible view of the lake and mountains. The bed was very comfortable and the soaking tub was such a treat. Breakfast was very good. It had a nice selection of yogurt and toppings, rolls, eggs, meat and cheese. We were quite satisfied. Dinner was incredible!! I can not put into words how delicious our meals were. Everything including the soup, salad, main dish and dessert was perfect. Karin and Martin really make an effort to make there guest's stay enjoyable. Because of them we will never forget our wonderful stay at hotel pension Melcher.”
