“This was the most relaxing, beautiful, clean and safe place I have ever stayed. As a 70 year old woman, I was traveling alone as part of my birthday adventure. I was totally comfortable, treated like royalty, and absolutely loved the hotel. It dates back to medieval times, is extremely quiet, The staff is exceptionally accommodating. They serve a lovely breakfast and a simple but excellent dinner menu. The swimming pool is spectacular and the grounds very enjoyable. You can sit totally by yourself in an isolated garden or find many terraced areas to recline with others. I would love to return as it is absolutely the nicest place I have ever ever stayed. The price is extremely reasonable for what you get. Most guests are from Italy or France and some couples have been returning for 25 years in a row. That tells you a lot.”
