“Excellent old-fashioned inn. Room was cosy and warm. The style is faux-old Spanish farmhouse, but done with quality materials, unlike many similar looking rural hotels. Big bath with jacuzzi pump, comfortable bed. Evening meal was above average for this type of establishment and the pub atmosphere of the place, with many locals watching football on the TV, and parents with kids, adds to the magic. You can breakfast inside or outside on the shaded and heated terrace. Really a great place to stay, especially in winter and early spring, when it can get pretty cold in Andalusia. We paid the off-season price - 40e - which makes it well worth it. I'd pay a bit more but possibly not the 65e official rate.”
“We wanted our friends to experience a typically Spanish rural hotel, and this fits the bill. The rooms are very clean and comfortable though not very big. Our pricing included an evening meal, and was very good value for money, with a tasty meal typical of what you expect of a Spanish 'menu del dia'. The staff member who welcomed us went out of his way to solve the problem of parking, even walking with me to find my husband and letting us use his own parking space in an underground car park. Many Thanks! The countryside round about is very scenic and interesting and it was nice to be able to stay locally for a night. It helps if you speak a little Spanish, as do we.”
