“We arrived really late (1 am) and the owners were so kind to leave us the keys in the reception. The owners were really friendly and gave us a lot of recommendations. The room was big, clean and very comfortable. We did not have the time to go to the sauna, but the owner told us that we could have used it if we wanted to. The hotel location is perfect, located between 2 wonderful ski resorts (Saalbach -Hinterglemm and Zell-am-See). There are some really good restaurants in Maishofen center, serving traditional Tirolean food. Zell-am-see is only 5 minutes drive, we went there one night to have an after-ski drinks and dinner. We came by car therefore we took the car to go to the ski resorts. Nonetheless, there are public buses that go to the ski resorts departing from the front of the hotel. We will definitely come back to this hotel next year for our ski trip.”

“Uitstekend hotel, familiebedrijf gerund door een gezin met hart voor de zaak. Alles tot in de puntjes geregeld en de eigenaars hebben vele tips over de omgeving die je in de boekjes niet zo snel vindt. Wij verbleven er voor een korte skivakantie. Maishofen heeft weliswaar geen eigen lift maar met de skibus (stopt voor de deur) ben je in 10 minuten in het skicircus Saalbach of in Zell am See. Vanaf 2018 worden deze gebieden vanaf Viehhofen aan elkaar aangesloten waardoor je in Maishofen een perfecte uitvalsbasis hebt. De prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding is absoluut in orde. Het hotel is de trots van de eigenaars en ze werken 24/7 om de gasten tevreden te houden. Recentelijk is het hoofdgebouw verbouwd en in 2018 krijgen de appartementen in het bijgebouw nog een upgrade (nodig is het niet, kwaliteit is al uitstekend)”
