“When we arrived the hotel was locked up due to the restaurant staff on vacation (normal practice in Germany). But there was a cell number to call and within a few minutes we were warmly checked in. We were told where we could eat. The room was large. The Wifi worked well in the main building but the other couple with us were in a small addition to the hotel and there the wifi did not work. Bed was firm and comfortable. For the restaurant staff being on vacation the breakfast was surprisingly generous with a large selection. We stayed in October and at that time the town was very quiet. I do not know what it would be like in the summer months.”
