“Very friendly and welcoming owner. Traditional building but modern rooms that have been tastefully decorated. I was very pleasantly surprised by the hotel in general. Well worth a look when visiting he area.”
“We were warmly welcomed to the hotel and even though we were early we were very well looked after. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. We had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both were very enjoyable meals. My dog was as welcome as I was which is always a pleasure.”
“The location is about 20 - 30 minute drive from Lucerne. It's a small, well-decorated establishment and we instantly felt welcomed by the manager who came to the door when she saw us drive up. She got to know my name and where I came from before I arrived and asked about my trip. The bar was closed that day which is a shame because it's such a comfortable looking bar with nice view of the countryside but she told us where we can go for drinks. The rooms seem to be new and the beds are so comfy. We were travelling for 10 days and this was the best sleep I've had on the trip. I would recommend this place for anyone travelling around Switzerland. The warm welcome of this place alone is worth driving there for and I hope to visit there again. Things to note: - plenty of free parking - no air conditioning, but windows are big and open wide - there's a train track next to it but there's no noise during the night, even with the windows open”

“however the hotel is located 20km away from the center of Luzern, it is in the small, silent and cosy town. The room is big and beds are comfortable. We did not have to chance to try but the hotel has its own restaurant and it was full during the dinner. The owner (I assume that she is the owner) is a friendly lady.”
