“The hotel and the room are clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The decor is a simple Bavarian country style but the lobby is pleasantly elegant. The staff are friendly, courteous and helpful - they made me feel very welcome. The breakfast buffet is stunning with a large variety of offerings - including Bavarian "white" sausage (Weisswurst). I was surprised by this generous variety in a relatively small hotel. The breakfast room faces on the garden and is roomy yet cozy. The area around the hotel is green with many easy opportunities for walking or running in the area. There is also a public swimming pool nearby. And with public transportation you can be in downtown Munich in less than 30 minutes. I am very glad I selected the Hotel Residenz Beckenlehner for my stay in Munich and look forward to my next visit.”
