“I've stayed at Haus Ernst on a number of occasions over the years and it has never failed me. The accomodation is superb value for money. Haus Ernst is a family run hotel and has been since 1910, something that they are quite rightly very proud of, the staff all speak English to a very high standard and the restaurant boasts a comprehensive menu of traditional German food. An English menu is also available for the added reassurance that you know what you're ordering. The food is outstanding - good portions and extremely well prepared. My latest visit was for a military reunion and the staff at Haus Ernst were simply outstanding and went out of their way to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. The locals engaged readily with us making this hotel quite unique - it has the perfect balance. We will be returning!”
