“What makes a travel experience memorable is the place itself but also the service and the staff which makes a big difference. I would say that the owners and the staff at Hotel Rebstock were amazing. The standards were equivalent or better than a 4/5 star hotel. They were very approachable, caring and thoughtful. They went out of the way to make my stay comfortable and a cherishable one. The place itself is very clean and the location is beautiful and walking distance to the Oppenau station. Being a vegetarian I was initially apprehensive booking this place. But, I must admit, I had some of the best vegetarian dishes and their breakfast spread is superb. The dessert made by the owner's son on my last night of the stay was one of the best (5 star hotel standards and to top it, not the 5 star price). Thanks again for the kind gesture and recommendation. I will return again and thanks to the owners for the wonderful experience.”

“A for business-travelers not so usual but quite attractive and scenic Black Forest stopover place. Kind and caring reception, a restaurant with a good name and a good night's rest, just 10 to 15 minutes away from the Autobahn A5 near Offenburg. Excellent beds, room really dark and quiet, comfortable bathroom. Excellent breakfast.”
