“We absolutely loved Hotel Stern. The rooms were clean and the linens were crisp and comfy. We opened our window at night and enjoyed the air and the church bells and the fountain trickling. The location was the very best and their restaurant is the best we had on our trip. Highly recommend!!!!”

“A quaint and appropriately cozy 700 year old tavern and gasthaus (hotel) in a beautiful part of Lucerne close to all the places on the lake. If you love the charm of old small hotels that are comfortable, clean, and appropriate for a few day visit to a magnificent city at a reasonable rate, then this is the place for you. The food and restaurant was fantastic. The breakfast was filling and the "kaffee mit milch" just kept flowing.”
