“We liked the staff. The room. The restaurant was beautiful and the food delicious. The friendliness of other visitors and staff. Car park locked at night. The food was excellent. The garden was a delight after a days driving, the attentiveness of the staff just great. The rooms were clean and the bathroom large. It was nice to have coffee facilities in the room not something you usually get in France, we stayed in six hotels and only two offered water and coffee/tea facilities - The CIron being one of them. We shall return.”
“The restaurant is closed on Sundays other than in peak holiday season, something we were unaware of, but our hosts offered to "rustle up" something for supper and produced a fabulous three course meal. The bedroom was very comfortable, the bathroom clean and we would not hesitate to stay here again.”
