“Marco and Karen were terrifically helpful, such hard workers to make your visit enjoyable. Our room was a bit spartan but the view of Yungfrau was to die for. There is a restaurant so you don't have to go looking for dinner and breakfast is amazing. Marco helped with our large bags up steep stairs or may not have been able to do it. Be prepared, there is a rather long tunnel mostly one-ish lane to get there along with a winding road up but when you get there you'll be knocked out by the view you get to look at from your room. This place has old Swiss charm and true local feeling. Get to know your hosts and you will feel as though you have had a true Swiss experience here. All gondolas etc., are easy to get to in Lauterbrunnen with parking easy to pay for, but you do need a car.”

“The hotel loacated in a small town near Lauterbrunnen （5 min's drive）. The town is quite peaceful with breathtaking view of Jungfrau. We stayed 3 nights and were very lucky to see Jungfrau and Monch under sunshine and cloud from our balcony. In the sunny day, it's even very easy to recognise Jungfraujoch from the hotel. The hosts are very nice and warmhearted. Karen gave us a lot of help and advises regarding the weather in Jungfrau, the waterfalls in Lauterbrunnen and the activities to be taken. She even offered to lend us jackets when she knew we didn't prepare jackets for Jungfrau. The food and wine in the restaurant are also quite good, it's a pitty that we cann't have dinner in this restaurant everyday during our stay (the restaurant is closed early in Monday, i.e., 6 p.m.). You'd better drive to access the hotel, as public transportation generally end at a early time. We will choose this hotel everytime we revisit Jungfrau area.”

“The room is very clean and the beds are so comfortable. The breakfast is tasty, has many traditional food. This is the best hotel in my journey. I'm so glad to choose it. The owner Carin makes me feel like home. She is a very warm person and so helpful. I'll definitely choose it again when I travel to Swiss next time.:)”

“The most beautiful surroundings and view of Jungfrau mountain in the Alps. Karin and Marcos were very nice and VERY helpful with food, hikes, and travel. It was our little piece of heaven. Would go back in a second. Best part of our 21 day trip to Europe. If you love spectacular scenery, great hiking, and a nice place to eat and relax with wonderful hosts in a secluded setting, this is the place to go. The view from our balcony was amazing!”

“Great views, very friendly proprietors. Rooms were rustic but very clean and appropriate for the area. A little out of the way but instructions on how to get to the hotel were good. Did I mention the spectacular views.”

“Location - situation and views hard to beat (both of valleys and high mountains - Jungfrau and Monch) Helpful and friendly hosts. Less commercialised than larger villages, but still has good access to all local amenities. Simple cooking delivered very well, and very good value for the area.”
