“Zunächst einmal die Lage, ein Straßendorf direkt an der historischen Via Regia inmitten der hügeligen Landschaft mit blühenden Rapsfeldern, Baum und Buschgruppen, und mit Blick zum Königshain, dem kleinsten Mittelgebirge Deutschlands, durch das der Ökumenische Pilgerweg führt. Dann der kleine Biergarten mit schattigen Bäumen, und das freundliche Personal. Die Zimmer liegen in einem Seitenflügel, also keine Störung durch den Restaurantbetrieb. Ein sauberer, gemütlicher Landgasthof mit gutem Essen, in dem man gut logieren kann, insbesondere als Wanderer.”
“Es ist ein 2-Sterne-plus-Haus. Und das Plus habe ich ausschließlich beim Personal und evtl. noch beim Frühstücksbuffet erlebt. Alles andere ist 2-Sterne in schöner, einsamer Landschaft.”
