“The Hotel Restaurant du Crêt is conveniently located on the Via Francigena, which I walked recently with a group of friends. We spent a night in one of the 8-person dorm rooms. For CHF 15 per person, I wasn't expecting much, given the eye-watering prices in the rest of Switzerland, and in fact the rooms and facilities are showing their age. However, they are perfectly adequate when what you want most after a day on the trail is a shower and a place to sleep. The dorms were full of hikers during my stay, and if you are used to the pros and cons of communal accommodations, the place offers good value for money.”
