“Staying at the Hotel Riviera was a truly lovely experience. I was bowled over by the impeccable manners and helpful attitude of all the staff. Robert (the Concierge?) was especially kind - parking my car, carrying my bag to my room and organising food for before and after my theatre visit. The food was all delicious with breakfast as a highlight. My room, on the third floor was well-appointed (a brilliant hairdryer) and there were plenty of hangers in the wardrobe. The bed was comfortable with a beautiful view out to sea and the bathroom was full of fresh, fluffy towels and lots of toiletries. The hotel is not in the modern, minimalist style that is so prevalent now, but has an elegance of older times, overseen by staff who seem to really care about their customers. I only wish I could have stayed longer”
