- Please note that Hotel Rottnest is not located on the mainland. Guests will need to take a ferry from Fremantle, Perth or Hillarys. Ferry tickets are not included in booking.<br><br>Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. The legal guardian must provide a current photo ID or proof of guardianship if requested upon check-in.<br><br>If you expect to arrive outside reception opening hours, please inform Hotel Rottnest in advance, using the contact details found on the booking confirmation.<br><br>Please note that there is a 3% charge when you pay with American Express or Diners Club, and 1.5% for Visa and Mastercard credit cards.<br><br>Please advise if you require an extra bed as an additional charge will apply. Rooms can accommodate either 1 rollaway bed or child's cot. Extra beds are subject to availability.<br><br>Please note that interconnecting rooms are available upon request, subject to availability. “The room was very overpriced . There was food left in the fridge and the sink was blocked . We had to wait for maintenance to come and sort it out . The shower had a curtain which was filthy and the toilet hadn't been cleaned . The patio hadn't been swept and there was debris everywhere. I never complain but it was so poor for the money . The restaurant area for public use was fine .”

“Great spacious room with a terrace overlooking the sea, harbour and beach, awesome! Quokkas jumping everywhere around. Great bar in the hotel. Very friendly staff. Close to the Port and in the main place on the island with all the shops, restaurants etc. Right next to a bike rental place. Unbelievable view, sunrise from bed... Good coffee machine in the room.”
“On-site hotel dining with beautiful views. Random quokkas venturing through the hotel outdoor area, even during the day. Overnight stay was great to see the quokkas en masse around the settlement in the evening. Pretty overhead lights on nearby paths added a nice romantic touch. Proximity to bike hire and settlement was great. Indulgent high quality bathroom products and coffee provisions added to the pleasures of the stay. Manager Sam was a friendly and helpful guide. The room was comfortable with lovely artwork and cushions to complement the beautiful sights of the Island. Welcome Swallow nest in courtyard really brought the wildlife to our backyard. Loved it all!”
