“Very good and unusually varied breakfast, helpful and friendly staff. I would say - staff is the most valuable part of this hotel and makes it pretty for guests.”
“The room was adorable. El Cid next door was amazing. Breakfast was delicious in the cafe”
“Excellent location. Spotless clean and great staff. The room was quiet, confortable and well equipped. Quality breakfast.”
“Small hotel, friendly staff, generous sized rooms, good breakfast.”
“Very atmospheric and pleasant hotel with extremely helpful and obliging staff. Good breakfast on a lovely terrace behind the hotel overlooking a park.”
“Before we arrived, the office staff were really quick and helpful in organising transfers from and back to Prague Airport at a very reasonable price. Also we had to change an element of our booking which booking.com said could not be done without charge, but emailing the Hotel Rous direct produced an excellent, sensible no cost solution. The hotel is directly off the main square and is very old. Breakfast is served on the walls of the Old Town which is spectacular. And it's a very good breakfast with ham and eggs and individually made coffees.I really like staying in hotels with character. There's a real sense of age here in that there's exposed stone and brick work in the roo s and corridors.Lastly the greeting was warm and personal. The two staff on duty during our weekend stay were very helpful and it was nice to be taken to our room on arrival. It was good value for money.”
“Great location. Friendly staff and good breakfast in their cafe.”
“Friendly and very helpful staff. Very clean. So easy to walk everywhere.”
“The bed was very comfortable and the room very spacious. The location was really great, only 10 minutes from the railway station walking and 30 seconds to the main square! The staff was very polite and available to questions and request. A plus point is by far the breakfast. They have a good choice of sweet and salty food, ideal for all tastes and nationalities: bread, fresh fruits, fruit salads, juices, jams, ham, cheese, scrambled eggs etc. They have a regular coffee (American coffee) which I don’t like much, but you can also have – at no extra cost Italian espresso or cappuccino. I also liked the design of the hotel: they tried to preserve the “old” feeling and furniture, using the original walls of the building, but with all the contemporary comfort.”
“The room was nice and cosy. The staff were nice enough to make me breakfast when I came down in the morning and it had already been packed away. It's very central, just two minutes to the main square.”
