“The staff were all friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were decorated tastefully and everything matched, they were very clean and had comfy beds and pillows. The beverage tray had plenty of tea bags, milk and sugar. Room 5 was particularly lovely and couldn't have been better for us if we had chosen it ourselves. Choice of food at dinner and breakfast was excellent and cooked to perfection. We will definitely stay again.”

“We absolutely loved everything about this place. The staff were so incredibly lovely (we even witness someone trying to tip a waitress who showed the guests round but she refused it, simply saying “it’s my job :)”.) The food was amazing and the rooms were fab. The surrounding scenery was breathtaking as was the little walk to the lake at the bottom. The security at night with the key fob made us feel extra secure too. Really cannot fault it.”

“The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds we've ever slept in and the staff were extra helpful and kind. The location is excellent at the foot of Lake Rudyard, good for walks. Only problem is it is a little difficult to find being on the back roads, however it is signposted. During the Summer months there is a little railway which runs along the lake. Our room had an ensuite bath instead of a shower, but we enjoyed that :)”
