“Small hotel, somewhat remote and quiet place off the usual tourist routes. Nicely refurbished old building and rooms, nice little garden to relax in. Very friendly and helpful staff. Car needed but then easy access to hiking regions (Roque Nublo etc) as well as to shops and restaurants in San Mateo (7 km) or elsewhere.”
“The hotel was close to San Mateo with food shopping and restaurants. The hotel was very convenient for us, as we were hiking on the many mountain trails in the area. If you are so inclined there is a trail starting near the hotel which will bring you to the very top of Gran Canaria - a climb of about 1000 meters and a total distance of about 18 km which can be done in a day (about 7 hours). The hotel has a very attractive garden and a nice swimming pool area. Secure parking area.”
