The food in the restaurant is fantastic, the service is great, the beds are comfy and the rooms very clean. The wifi works just great. Right in the heart of the old town. Accessible to everything. Parking is a bonus! I never stay anywhere else. Thank you San Lorenzo for another super visit!”

“This hotel was lovely, with a fresh modern design in seemingly the most up market part of town. The rooms are very functional and comfortable. We had to change our stay from 2 nights to 1 night last minute (missing the no charge amendment date) so the owner covered our evening meal as an unexpected gesture.”
“I have stayed here twice now with adult family and this is the best hotel. I don't get the other reviewers. It is so much more than basic. It is in the perfect location in Chiavenna. The restaurant is wonderful (try the local traditional gnocchi) and next door is a great wine shop. The staff couldn't be more helpful. The room is updated and comfortable with great views no matter what side you are on. Parking is in their private underground garage and accesses the hotel via an elevator. I will stay here again. It is a great hotel. Enjoy!”
