“Super nice hotel, friendly staff, good parking, i really liked it. We tried the beer in the new craft brewery "Schulzens Hofbräu" former called "Old Brewery" Any i have to say, awesome stuff, good work from the brewmaster.”
“- huge rooms. - I travelled by motorbike and arrived soak and wet. The room had a heater to dry my clothes. - the hotel has a restaurant which looks good. Unfortunately I only became aware of that fact after I had had a mediocre lunch somewhere else”
“The location is great - right in the middle of town but the hotel is spread over 3 streets with the car park in one of them! Could be a problem if you have a lot of luggage but it wasn't an issue for us. They had upgraded our rooms at no extra cost so we each had a suite! Beds very comfy, decor old-fashioned but seemed quite new. Bathroom very spacious but dated. Shower worked fine but there was a strange smell every time we used the bathroom - suspect drains I imagine! Quiet and peaceful location. Breakfast buffet OK but I've had better in Germany. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend the food in the hotel restaurant - went there both nights as it was convenient and had a nice ambience. Schnitzels and steaks excellent! Would stay there again - loved Tangermunde despite the cold wind!”
