“Superb south facing room with balcony, surrounded by trees filled with bird song. Could have sat there relaxing all day. Hotel is beautifully situated, surrounding by heath, lake and woods. Ideal for walking or cycling. Do visit Jupp in the woods opposite. A bar/eatery with outside seating. And take a boat trip on the lake which can be walked around in an afternoon and is a very pleasant walk. Lovely and extensive buffet breakfast, and great a la carte dining. Staff all very friendly, but it helps if one speaks a bit of German because this is not a hotel on the tourist route. A great venue for corporate gatherings with extensive facilities to meet such needs.”
“The location was chosen for a stay-over on a drive from London to Copenhagen. In that regard it was ideal - close to the motorway but still in a quiet setting. We arrived in time for dinner and enjoyed an excellent meal in the hotel restaurant. Not only the food was very good, it also had an impressive wine-list. The room was perfect, comfortable bed and well functioning wi-fi.”

“The location is perfect to enjoy the See, the nearby beach and surrounding countryside. The wellness centre and facilities were great, breakfast likewise (recommend getting there early as it is popular and to enjoy on the terrace outside overlooking the lake - weather permitting!) and really sets you up for your day. Great lake view, room very spacious and comfortable. Parking is easy and plentiful. Staff throughout were very warm, welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond with great service for us. Will definitely stay again.”
