“Rooms were clean, beds comfy, great value for winter's rate. Location perfect for exploring the little town by foot. Hotel interior expertly staged with local and regional art and artifacts. Loved, loved, loved the breakfast rooms. Oh my goodness, too much to mention it all. The staff was helpful, professional and personable.”
“Price good for accommodation. Unique and very Alaskan”
“The staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly. I loved that there was coffee and hot tea available all the time. There was an always full candy bowl on the counter.”
“The location is great, you're very close to souvenir shops, restaurants and the sea. The harbour is in walking distance if you can spare some time to walk.”
“Loved that there was a washer and dryer onsite, loved that there was a candy bowl and coffee and tea in the lobby. The staff was very helpful and pleasant.”
“Comfortable room. Great location. Wonderful people.”
“Nice lounge and bar and staff was friendly and interesting and helpful; we needed a ride and they offered it; furnishings were appropriate for the building and helped to create a warm ambience; my husband says it was awesome!”
“Everything. Even to the littlest thing like having hooks in the bathroom to hang up your towels.”
“We stayed in the king suite. If was luxuriously comfortable. Ms Genes for breakfast was also excellent.”
“The help was very accommodating. Don't know why we had to wait until 5:15pm to get in, but we saw the museum and aquarium while we waited. They upgraded us to a room that had more space and they held our fish in the freezer for us. Loved all the mounted wild animals & free coffee. Everyone was very pleasant to talk to. We liked that we could wash our clothes & from what the locals told me, it was cheaper than the laundromat. (only thing I didn't like was that I had to wait until 8am to use the machines). The location was close to downtown and the beach. I did a lot of walking in the area waiting for my husband to come back from fishing.”
