“I've been to Rome many times, but this was my first time at Hotel Smeraldo. It was a very good choice. I appreciated the location, close to Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and one of my favorite spots - Campo de Fiori. You can walk to Trastevere or, in the opposite direction, to the Trevi fountain. There are lots of restaurants in the area around Hotel Smeraldo. My room was clean and very quiet. Courteous staff. Good breakfast, too. Manuel, who served breakfast, always had a smile and no matter how busy he was, served excellent coffee or cappuccino right away.”
