“Very nice - old fashioned breath - warm atmosphere, - very nice staff. This Hotel is synonymous for the 70-80.s in very charming way. Very rare to find. Love to keep it this way. Nice position in very small village - some tours straight from the hotel. Just 20 min from busy and polished St. Moritz...do not come if looking for shining new design - but wont be disappointed if you remember good old times... Petr”

“Nice rustic style hotel right in the centre of Bivio (even if Bivio isn't very big anyway!) Intriguing design inside with corridors and staircases leading off all over the place. Handy family room with TV, sofas, games and books. Nice terrace bar outside and two big dining rooms inside, one only for breakfast and another for dinner. Excellent food for dinner and an ample choice at breakfast including some delicious home-made bread and croissants. Dinner starts at 5.30 if you like to eat early. Really friendly staff, and everyone I spoke to could speak English.”
“Beautiful location in an isolated mountain valley, high in the Alps, just off Julien Pass. Great for hikers, a place to be quiet. Though isolated location in a very small town, about a half hour away from more populated Engedine (St. Moritz) and beautiful valley there too. Staff very friendly and helpful in identifying hiking trails and other scenic sights.”
“Large clean and tidy rooms well heated. Very helpful and accommodating staff. I was able to put my moto in a lockup out of the weather. Excellent restaurant on the premises and good breakfast. Staff spoke excellent English.”

Although we were here out-of-season, the village is a small skiing village which we found charming and only a half hour drive to St Moritz The hotel offered everything we needed. Being a family-run hotel, the staff were exceptional and most welcoming.”
