“We paid for a suite, so it wasn't a cheap holiday, however the hotel, staff and cleanliness of the hotel was first class and I would highly recommend it to others. We tried several restaurants in Rive, but the main hotel ones we found the best, although a little pricey. The staff were very good. You can find smaller off the beaten track restaurants nearby, but they do get very busy after 7pm. all the restaurants are slow service to some degree, especially when busy, but you are on holiday and as such time should not be an issue. Sit back and wait. It does help to be able to say Hello and goodbye as well as asking for the bill. The hotel staff were very helpful and very friendly. The views were superb, but make sure that if you want a lake view, you pick the right room, as some do not look over the lake.”
