“Amazing hotel right on the edge of Lake Lugano, step off the deck and take a dip. The decor and style reflects the hotels history and very splendid indeed. Family run, and the parents, in their 80s, well dressed and ready early in the morning, happy for a conversation. The hotel is in a little village, which has everything one needs to see about typical Italy: old church with big spire, cobbled stone alleys and streets, coffee shop and restaurant. You can climb up the path to the chapel behind the church and have an amazing view of the lake.I would like to go back and stay a bit longer at this hotel and the village.The dining area include the outside garden a few meters from the lake. We had some beers out at the waters edge, just superb.The staff were amazing and happy to help with explanation of menu items.”
