“The staff was excellent and the location is absolutely the best in the region. Right at the foot to trails into the alms and the alps, a wonderful view of the Säntis from the the rooms in the rear, and a ten minute walk from the Thur Waterfalls, which are well worth the trip. This is a grand old hotel in a bit of decline. DO ask for a room in the back. They are also cooler in the summer heat.”
