“Cost attic apartment with wonderful views close to the train station with great connectivity. Very quiet and wonderful ambience our host went out of his way to welcome us even though it was a holiday.”

“We stayed in the apartment on the top floor on a particularly warm night, so it was a little warm, but otherwise, the apartment was perfect - 3 large bedrooms with comfortable beds in this adorable little lakeside town were a perfect pit stop for us. The owner recommended a great little restaurant with a terrace and we grabbed some baked goods the next morning from a bakery just up the street. Parking was super easy and there was even a playground just next-door to the hotel so the kids enjoyed that!”

“Location was in a small town that was out of the way so that made it nice. It was only a 5 minute walk to the lake which was nice. Owner was extremely friendly and gracious. there is a restaurant in the hotel- we did not eat there but it was busy with people. We did have breakfast which was just cold cut of meat bread, cheese, orange juice and coffee.”

“We had a lovely dinner downstairs and evening walk. The views are everything you dream of. The duna on the bed was just amazing.”

“The bed was very comfortable, and the room generally was very good. There was a lovely ensuite bathroom with a good shower. My welcome at the hotel by the owner was excellent and he gave me a lovely complimentary cup of tea on arrival. Although my lovely room was on the top floor, the stairs were very shallow in depth so we're not too difficult to negotiate. The hotel owner carried my case up to my room for me, which after a long journey from the North of England was really helpful. My only disappointment was not being able to have breakfast on the Wednesday morning due to the proprietor being away from Tues evening until Thursday morning. However, as I was meeting up with a friend who was in The area on holiday from Switzerland, I left early to meet her and we had breakfast together at their apartment. Overall I was happy with my stay at Hotel Sternen. The location was superb. I would love to go back again with my husband and stay longer to explore the magnificent area.”

“Very nice place to stay. Perfectly located at the Axenstrasse, very easy to find and with free parking place. The double room was really comfortable and big, and the individual was also very good (only the bathroom there was a bit small, but no major issues). The speciality of the restaurant, "Poulet im Körbli", is also very tasty and recommendable!”

“A differenza delle strutture più "turistiche" qui si può sentire concretamente cosa sia "la Svizzera". Si può parlare col proprietario (molto gentile) da amici e capire qualcosa in più di questa splendida nazione, di come ragionano e quali cose considerano importanti. Ambiente molto pulito e familiare. A pochi passi c'è il lago dei 4 cantoni e a un paio di km la cittadina di Brunnel, davvero molto bella e caratteristica. Ottimo punto come base da cui muoversi per visitare i cantoni URI, Schwyz, Zug e Lucerna che distano non troppo. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è poi veramente ottimo, difficile avere le stesse cose spendendo meno. Molto consigliato!”
