“It's a really cute hotel not far from the main station. It is approximately a 10 minute walk up many stairs. The room was clean and cozy with a modern shower and a sink. The private toilet was just down the hall and was only accessible by me using my key. The breakfast room is also really cozy. I didn't eat breakfast there, so I cannot comment on the breakfast itself. I liked and appreciated that this hotel is a cozy and quirky independent hotel.”

“This hotel was a very pleasant discovery, in a quiet location just a ten minute walk from the station. The staff were especially friendly and kind and my room - although it had been described as small - was in fact quite spacious for a single and had some very nice touches. It was a pleasing blend of traditional and modern and was spotlessly clean. I thought it was amazingly good value for money compared to other hotels in Zurich and the breakfast was served in a lovely interesting room with very subdued classical music in the background (heaven for me!). They got it exactly right: soft enough to be barely recognisable but just enough to provide some atmosphere. I will be staying here again next time I'm in Zurich. Highly recommended.”

“The hotel was comfortable and friendly, and there is a tram stop quite conveniently located nearby. Make sure you read the directions for getting there from the station, because I believed Google Maps and consequently thought the only way to get there was to drag my enormous suitcase up many stairs!”

“1. Location is good : it is close to the city center, but calm enough to sleep well. It is, in fact, in the residential area next to ETH/UZH universities. Note that if you want to walk back to the hotel from the historical city center, you will have to walk up a steep hill. Otherwise you can jump on a tram for 5min. Walking down from the hotel is a pleasure. 2. The hotel is clean and calm : as expected in a three-star hotel in Switzerland. Perfect for a business trip or any professional visit in Zurich. 3. The bathroom was big and agreeable. Again, good to have a rest and enjoy a comfortable bathtub. 4. There are a few, isolated cafés next to the hotel for those willing to have a quiet and high quality breakfast or lunch away from Zurich's touristic areas. 5. Wifi quality was very good everywhere in the hotel (that's rare enough to be noticed)!”
