“The owner, Noke, is a delight. A font of local knowledge, she could not have been more helpful or friendly. The breakfast choices are amazing, and dinner of a quality that more than justifies the modest extra expense. One feels less like having stayed and more like having been adopted! Staff and regular local customers (and Nestor the four legged CEO!) give the hotel a friendly, homely feel and we left having made new friends. Even the parking arrangements were a pleasant surprise; rather informal, but really reasonably priced and close by. And if you are making a long drive home I can recommend Noke's packed lunch to take with you, which has the added advantage of saving you from the expensive services on the motorways! Well placed to visit the surrounds; we were attending a wedding so had limited time, but will return to visit Maastricht and go to Tongeren and its fantastic Sunday antique market again.”
