“Fantastic view; thermal pool, humming-birds, mountains, surroundings”
“The hotel is located in an extraordinary place, at 3,500 meters overlooking the city of Manizales and just below a volcano. The mountains are beautiful, almost lunar. We loved the scenery, the hot spring pool, and most importantly, the tamed mockingbirds that descend on one's hands and swirl around one's face. The staff was very nice, especially the caretaker, Jairo, who took us to see the mockingbird every time we asked.”
“This place is the only hotel on top of the nevado volcano area, and it's a scenic drive from the city to the hotel. Staff cannot speak english but really really helpful to guide us to watch unique birds around the hotel. And the hot spring is great, only two of us are there enjoy it so much...!”

“Fabulous hotel, built as a ski lodge in 1937, and renovated over the last three years. Smart decor, terrific thermal pool, good restaurant on site, and wonderful gardens. Staff very friendly and service excellent. Set at 3500m in an amazing landscape on the edge of a national park. Best hummingbird feeders we have seen!”

“Easy access from room to pool. Well designed facility. Amazing landscape and location. Hummingbird garden is absolutely incredible - our kids LOVED it. A few of the staff members were extremely accommodating. Our children really enjoyed the freshwater jacuzzi. The soaking pool and it's surroundings are very nice, with lots of nice landscaping surrounding it. Everything is very clean. We would definitely return to this place.”
