“A rather traditional French hotel, older building outside and in, darkish in places, with a lot of wooden furniture and polished wooden floors. But excellent service and organisation, very good bathroom. The breakfast did not have the now common cold meat and cheese but the duty person put a basket of various breads on the table and poured topped up coffee. Excellent location just round the corner from the station. Surprisingly quiet even though fronting on a main boulevard. [WiFi offered but I was not carrying any device.]”

“This lovely hotel, in a historic town house that has been very tastefully renovated, was easy to find and we were able to park right outside - parking is free from 6pm until 9am. We received the warmest of welcomes from Miriam who could not do enough for us. Our huge room - 11 - overlooking the garden exceeded all our expectations. The décor throughout is fresh and very tasteful, the bed linen of the highest quality, and the bathroom though small was brand new and totally efficient. A simple breakfast served in their lovely dining room overlooking the garden completed the experience. All in all a truly lovely stay in Tours and a hotel to remember. Thank you Miriam and co.”
