“We wanted a very quiet room in a central hotel... A big ask in a city. We didn't care about the view from the window.... That's exactly what we got! Room 621, very quiet room at the back of the hotel. Basic enough hotel, it's not the Ritz, but it has everything you need. We were out all day every day. Room was very clean, quiet, everyone on reception lovely. Sutter street is near union square, easy to walk from hotel to union square etc but it is a steep incline back up the road( like most roads in San Fran!) but it's so easy to catch a Lyft or uber which is what we did as it was late in the evening when we were returning to the hotel. There is no bar in the hotel, it's literally designed for somewhere to sleep which is perfect. Anything more than that and you will pay big money. For San Fran we found this hotel good value, no breakfast included but again that's the norm in America!”

“The location was great. Very walkable to Union Square. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The inroom coffee maker was a nice plus... Wolfgang Puck, delicious! The Front Desk staff was always extremely attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. The Housekeeping staff made sure my room was clean. I stayed for 8 nights, felt like this was my home away from home and will definitely stay again.”
“Loved this hotel! Room was lovely, really quiet and bed was by far the comfiest we stayed in throughout our 3 week cali trip. Staff were really friendly and helpful (most welcoming too which made me calm down/be happy after 2 hours !!! in passport control ques). Location is perfect. If you go to San Fran, be prepared to walk! But this isn't much of a walk to all the sights. Wish we could of stayed for so much longer.”
