“The whole atmosphere of the hotel was lovely and the garden areas were full of hidden areas to sit and relax lots of curios to look at too and of course the view was super. Great rail service to link up to Cinque Terre. Tasty breakfast with plenty of choices and nicely presented. Weather was super but plenty of inside areas to sit and relax in otherwise.”

“Hotel Villa Belvedere is on the hill over Bonassola, about 5 minutes walk up from the center. Its is very quiet and peaceful. It has a wonderful garden and verandas where you can spend a lazy afternoon just admiring the view. The hotel has its own privat parking place so if you do not like walking you still can enjoy the advantage of being out of the hustle of the centre. Do not miss to have dinner in the hotel's restaurant in the garden. The food is excellent. Breakfast is very good too. I went to see Cinqueterre and enjoyed very much the nice quiet surronding after the extremly overhelming crowds of Cinqueterre which can be reached by train or car within 15 minutes from Hotel Villa Belvedere.”

“This hotel has the quiet and friendly character where you feel at home (it's people!) away from home but then at a location and spot with views that is a dream. And...Bonassola is a small village away from the crowds but with convenient access to the all places in the area. It's own beach is perfect. For the elderly (like us) we would recommend the bigger rooms. The hotel btw attracts a nice mix of guests age wise. Definitely a place to go back to. Wifi (for those concerned): excellent performance.”

Just a few highlights: + beautiful view from the terrace and the room and garden with lemon trees and roses + kind and caring staff, very much run like a family business + convenient if you are travelling by train. 5 minutes walk up the stairs, which is okay, even though we are not very fit. When you are coming an leaving with the luggage, they offer a complementary shuttle service + lovely restaurant with casual atmosphere and gourmet dishes.”
