“The room was comfortable and spacious. We had an access to common terrace with a fantastic view of the bay - pretty cool stuff to start the day with. The breakfast was modest (typically Mediterranean, with coffee and cakes) but it was served in a wonderful garden (again, with a view of Taormina). The interior design is old-school but everything was clean and tidy. Great restaurants nearby, all recommended by a friendly host. All key landmarks are within a walking distance which is really helpful. Would definitely stay here again.”

“A real gem of a place. Rubens, the owner was so sweet and lovely. The balcony was more like a huge terrace but all for myself with a view north that was to die for. The gardens were something out of a fairly tale. The interior and ambience just as gorgeous. Located just a minute from the Porta Messina arch entrance it's perfectly positioned to enjoy every part of this glorious town and also access transport down to the sea. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. In fact I'd never stay anywhere else. The price is amazing!!”

“Beautiful old historic family villa converted into a Hotel. The hotel is owned and run by two brothers who are descendants of the original owners and who live there. If you like old villas, with drop dead gorgeous views, and are centrally located, then this is for you. The location is outstanding, just steps from the historic Porta Messina and steps to the cable car down to the beach. The room had a shared terrace with a stunning view of the coastline and sea. The breakfast area in an outdoor garden had a similar magnificent view. Breakfast was minimal but you can supplement it by buying fruit from the market up the street.”
