“The staff. They are attentive, careful and do all their best to make us feel comfortable.”
“The manager Antonio was superb, very friendly and helpful. The hotel staff were very attentive and especially at breakfast where the cappuccino was prepared excellently. The breakfast was also great and set you up for a big day sightseeing in Rome. The rooms were comfortable stylish and clean. The location was convenient and very accessible to trams, trains buses, restaurants, bars and cafes. We had a double and a triple room for our family of five. Both accommodated our needs well. I would highly recommend the Hotel Villa Maria San Lorenzo and can assure you that your experience will be very happy! A special thank you to Mr Antonio as he went beyond the normal service levels that a hotel usually would provide.”
“The staff is amazing. From the front desk, restaurant or cleaning, everything was excellent.”
“Staff were good and easy to get a public transport and the price was very good for the type of hotel.”
“Staff were excellent - very friendly & helpful. Original traditional villa hotel with Roman character & style. Large roof terrace with our room provided comfy outdoor seating area Decent selection at breakfast for a small hotel Location a short taxi ride from Termini railway station & on a tram route so not necessary to walk to centre of Rome. Only little road traffic noise.”
“A lovely friendly boutique hotel close to the Termini stations. Breakfast was excellent with personal service. Furthermore, the staff arranged for pizzas to be delivered to us so we enjoyed an al fresco meal outdoors on a balmy September night. Supervising all aspects of the hospitality was the most pleasant and obliging Antonio. Many thanks!”
“This hotel has a soul and charm of the old villa, the helpfulness and atmosphere created by the personnel is outstanding! The rooftop terrace is a very nice place to chill out. We were arriving at the Tiburtina bus station and next day leaving from Termini, so I searched for an accomodation that had convenient access to both hubs. Taxi from Tiburtina to the hotel is less than 10 euro and you can easily access all points of interest by public transport. The area around the hotel is covered with graffiti, however, felt safe to walk around even in the evening hours and we had a chance to visit some local, non-tourist food places.”
“great cocktails in the evening in their delightful garden”
“The room was clean and the staff was polite and friendly, I've also appreciated the breakfast”
“Comfy beds. Very clean hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Tram stop 2 minute walk away. Good buffet breakfast selection. As I'm vegan the hotel provided me with soya milk and a selection of cakes and biscuits which was much appreciated.”
