“The place is a budget hotel but the price is not that cheap for Colombian standards. Rooms are smalls but at least they have air conditioning. The swimming pool is just ok for cooling down but no more, more like a pool for children. The cleanliness of the room and the bathroom is just ok, not great not disgusting, just ok. Good thing, is that the hotel is pretty central and close to restaurants and clubs.”
“Very impressive layout like a spanish villa. Garden/ pool in centre. Beautiful marble tile floors. Best of all poolside bar service and full restaurant. Great breakfast. My room on second floor had eccellent ac and high ceilings.”
“Melgar is very hot. Pool is essential. All colombian families, no gringos. Everyone was friendly. We played with all the kids in the pool. The manager drove us to the bus station for free.”
