“Highly appreciated: I arrived 9:30 in the morning and got my room immediately, along with an extra breakfast (and hotel didn't charge for this). Quiet location (but see my note on soundproofing). Single rooms are tiny, about the size of economy cabin on a ferry ship. This is by the way traditional of Dutch accommodation, consider that part of your experience. Not that it mattered. Breakfast is modest but usable: sandwiches, cereal with youghurt and milk, eggs, juices, fruits. No vegetables. Good coffee. Friendly staff. The hotel is 5 min walk from an excellent authentic restaurant Winter Lodge, and from the beach. This is where you want to be, anyway.”
