“Hotel is in a great location just across the street from the walled town. Bad Munstereifel is a fabulous place to stay and the town is delightful with plenty of really good restaurants (though many close on Sundays and do not stay open late). Our room was really spacious with a lovely seating area which was really welcome. There were lots of great 'extras' - bottled water, fruit and sweets. Breakfast was really good with lots of choice - I recommend the scrambled eggs! All staff were friendly and spoke good English.”

“Our room was on the ground floor with a little balcony. It was spacious, the bathroom lovely as well. We both liked the special touch: a bowl of fruit and sweets as well as a large bottle of mineral water - all complementary! Just what a traveller needs after a log journey. Breakfast, however, was amazing: lovely German rolls, black bread, a plate of cold meats and cheeses, cut fresh fruit, a yoghurt. An egg if fancy one, freshly brewed coffee. Fantastic! All prepared by the owner. The best breakfast at a very reasonable price! Location is brilliant, just outside the walled town within easy access to shops and restaurants. Free parking is available behind the hotel. This was our second stay at the Orchheimer Tor Hotel this year and we will definitely stay there again.”
