“Arbon is a charming little town on the shore of Bodensee and Hotel de charme Rőmerhof is an excellent example of Swiss hospitality. We were here as part of our trip from Bangor (Ireland) to Bobbio (Italy) following the route of St Columbanus and St Gallus from Ireland 1400 years ago. A nice lady opened up St Gallus Kappelle for us to see the Saint’s relics. We enjoyed an overnight in a spacious second floor room looking out over the historic buildings nearby. It was comfortable and the bathroom is very efficient. We enjoyed a very pleasant and well served breakfast by the owners, Dominique and Gerald. The hotel is a short walk from the railway station. We were moving on by ferry the next day to Lindau and Bregenz. Dominique very kindly gave us a lift to the ferry pier, which was the icing on the cake with this very enjoyable stay. Next time, we would like to stay for a longer period and also try the hotel restaurant.”

“Der Name Hotel de Flair ist gut gewählt, das Hotel hat schon einen eigenen, guten Flair. Die etwas spartanische Einrichtung passt dazu und ist o.k. Die Lage ist optimal und die Parkplatzsituation vor dem Hotel gut und ausreichend. Das Check In auch bei nicht besetzter Rezeption einfach. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, das Personal sehr aufmerksam.”

“Magnifique établissement idéalement situé, dans la petite ville d'Orban, non loin de St Gall et des richesses naturelles et artistiques du lac de Constance. Les délicieux propriétaires nous avaient réservé une magnifique suite au confort exceptionnel. Il n'y a pas de mot pour qualifier la qualité de la cuisine servie au restaurant.”
