“There is a nice enclosed garden with covered car parking, Staff were nice to talk to and took care to please. The room was clean, and kept clean, it had a comfortable bed,TV, chair and desk. The curtains were sound and light proof making the night very cozy. The entrance and bar are light and spacious. Overall there is a good atmosphere at the hotel and the centre of town a nice walk away; perfect for us old timers.”

“Hotel des Ducs is probably one of the accommodation highlights of our journey through France (a country we've been to dozens of times). It's a two-star hotel with three-star amenities (including a bathroom I'd be proud to have in my own home). If you want to virtually eliminate street noise, ask for a courtyard-view room when booking; the courtyard is also a nice little area to enjoy an aperitif after a long day. And don't forget to pet Diego, the hotel's dog/mascot -- he's a good boy! You can park your car in the courtyard, although space is limited, but there's also plenty of free parking along Avenue Wilson.”

“We stayed at Alencon to break a long drive and we were pleasantly surprised by the comfort of our stay at Hotel des Ducs. Our host was very friendly and helpful and gave us a room upgrade. The off street parking was good and the continental breakfast was fine. The room itself was quite spacious, clean and quiet. A very nice stop-over that was well positioned for a walk into town.”
