“comfortable bed and friendly staff; exceptional view from top of hill. it was a treat to get out early and see bom jesus grounds before everyone else arrives. Be aware that you do need to pay the euro to open the gate and go into the bom jesus ground area because that is where the hotel is: we were lost until we figured that out. You will not see the hotel sign if you arrive after dark.”

“The hotel was in a spectacular location with incredible views. The hotel however was tatty and tired. Our first room had no WIFI and a broken toilet seat. We were moved to another room with good WIFI but a cracked cistern and blocked sink. The rooms were basic. The advertised spa consisted of a nice pool but a Jacuzzi and steam room which were both non-functioning, a sundeck with wonderful views but broken chairs and decking.....it was generally neglected. The staff were pleasant. The breakfast was very good. I would not stay there again.”

“Beautiful grounds and view over the city of Braga. Pleasant walks in the park behind our hotel and a good sized swimming pool. Rooms clean and staff polite. Interesting old funicular.”

“The receptionists are great and helped us a lot to sort out some serious car rental issues. The hotel's team is really client oriented and takes great care of their hosts. They were particularly kind with our baby. The location is great, within a wonderful park with a little lake. Calm place, perfect to relax and wander around, with an amazing view on Braga. 10 min by car from the center, the hotel is also close from another famous holy place called "Sameiro". The hotel has a warm pool (~30°) and jacuzzi (~37°) with a terrasse and panoramic view (free of charge, including towels!!!). Really good free wifi, efficient air conditioner, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. To sum up, best quality-price ratio hotel we've ever been! Perfect to discover North of Portugal and rest at the same time!”
