“Everything you would expect from a Swiss mountain hotel. The location: in a small valley between mountains, over the dramatic Grimsel Pass. Hotel grounds: there is an alpine flower garden and a children's play area with the most twee play house ever. The buildings: traditional Swiss mountain buildings, yet with very modern furnishings and construction. The wellness area: Sauna, hydrotherapy baths, cold plunge pool, and outdoor heated pool. You can easily swim and watch the stars come out - the pool is available 24 hours. Breakfast: a fine spread and very tasty The restaurant: The menu looks like some rather odd flavour combinations but the chef knows what they are doing, it is all very tasty and high quality. Staff: helpful, friendly, and extremely efficient.”
