“Wonderful scenery. Excellent food in the restaurant. Local game specialities. Loved the atmosphere in the evening being amongst the locals. Hardly any tourists...but it WAS very late in the season.”

“If you want to stay IN the alps, stay here. It is nestled against the base of a mountain with a giant cascading waterfall for you to gaze at. We didn't use the trails next to the hotel, but if one would want to hike, it couldn't be more convenient. My 80 year old parents and I walked to the Schilthorn cable car, leaving our car at the hotel to save on parking fees. The walk is flat and gorgeous so almost like a mini-nature hike in itself. Breakfast was good and the morning staff were perky and helpful. We also had apple strudel the night before and it was excellent!”
