“We arrived here tired, cold and soaking wet after having cycled for several hours in atrocious weather. The staff member who greeted us, who was busy in the restaurant, immediately understood the state we were in and had our bikes locked away and us in our room in very little time. This was a well-run, welcoming hotel providing a spacious, quiet room for a very reasonable price.”

“The host's were great considering they had just taken over the hotel that week. He was very accommodating and jovial and she was very efficient and helpful. They fitted us in for dinner that evening even though they had a large party eating. Our message to book a table had not got through but they fed us very well, the buffet had beautiful food which we thoroughly enjoyed. The host was very amenable when checking out as we were a party of 9 and needed to split the food and drinks bill between 5 rooms. I wish them good luck in the future in sure they will do well. We had drinks outside served by a very nice and friendly lady.Car park was good and off the road.”
